Rio Hotel & Casino west of the Las Vegas Strip has officially become part of the World of Hyatt guest loyalty program.
The agreement was finalized in March 2021, two years after the off-Strip all-suites casino resort was sold to Dreamscape Companies by Caesars Entertainment.
With the completion of the property’s first phase of a $340 million overhaul, World of Hyatt members booking a trip to Rio will discover an updated resort.
Rio’s affiliation with the Destination by Hyatt brand marks a new era for the resort, enhancing the overall experience for World of Hyatt members and global travelers.

The first renovation phase included a redesign of all 1,500 guestrooms in the Ipanema Tower, maintaining the Rio de Janeiro influence with bold colors.
Additional features of the first phase included the new Canteen Food Hall, renovated convention space, a revamped pool complex, new slot machines, and table games on the casino floor.
Phase two will focus on the Masquerade Tower and the upgrade of public spaces at the resort.
Dreamscape’s $340 million investment aims to create a vibrant lifestyle experience at Rio Hotel & Casino.
Dreamscape, led by founder and CEO Eric Birnbaum, acquired the aging casino resort in December 2019 for $516.3 million, with plans to revitalize the property.

To celebrate joining the Destination by Hyatt program, Rio is offering discounted rates through Hyatt’s cyber sale until December 9, 2024.
Guests booking rooms through the resort’s website can enjoy a 50% discount for stays of two nights or more.
World of Hyatt rewards members will have the $50 nightly resort fee waived on free night awards, with elite “Globalist” members always enjoying waived resort fees.
Accruing World of Hyatt points through various activities can help guests reach the elite Globalist tier for added benefits.
