IGT has announced that Andy Hendrickson will take on an expanded role as Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO), pending the approval of necessary regulatory requirements.
Previously, Hendrickson held the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at IGT since the merger with Everi in 2025. He is known for his innovative technological leadership that drives transformative platforms and solutions, merging strategic insights with operational excellence to achieve significant results at scale.

Before his tenure at IGT, Hendrickson served as CTO for one of IGT’s global competitors. In earlier roles, he was CTO at Activision Publishing, overseeing technology for major console game franchises like Call of Duty, Crash Bandicoot, and Sekiro. At Walt Disney Animation Studios, he played a critical role in the technology behind celebrated films like Frozen.
His prior leadership experiences include being Head of Technology at Pacific Data Images/DreamWorks Animation, where he facilitated annual multi-film releases, such as Shrek 2 and Madagascar, and served as Senior Technology Officer at Industrial Light & Magic, advancing visual effects to new creative levels.
As an inventor listed on multiple U.S. patents, Andy has spearheaded advancements in areas such as remote collaboration, stereoscopic depth rendering, and sophisticated image processing. His contributions have been recognized in major films like Forrest Gump, The Mask, Men in Black, Frozen, and Wreck-It Ralph, as well as several blockbuster gaming titles.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, and maintains active memberships with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, SMPTE, and ACM SIGGRAPH.
