Lottery app Jackpocket, a subsidiary of DraftKings Inc., has announced a new partnership with Barstool Sports.

The collaboration stems from the previous agreement between DraftKings and Barstool Sports, which was announced shortly after the Super Bowl last February. Barstool had terminated its relationship with Penn Entertainment prior to this.

Expanding on the DraftKings Partnership

Jackpocket has become the “Exclusive and Official Digital Lottery Partner of Barstool Sports.”

Barstool is renowned for its humorous sports-related content shared across various platforms, including social media, podcasts, video, and live events. With over 265 million followers on social media, its key figures include Barstool founder Dave Portnoy.

Portnoy expressed excitement about the Jackpocket collaboration, emphasizing the goal of providing fans with easy access to participation in various activities.

DraftKings’ Acquisition of Jackpocket

In May, DraftKings Inc. completed its acquisition of Jackpocket Inc. through a $750 million cash and stock deal initially announced in February.

This acquisition allowed DraftKings to enter the U.S. lottery market, bolstering its presence in sports betting and online gaming by enhancing customer value and expanding acquisition capabilities.

Launch Event to Commence Partnership

Barstool Sports followers will witness the integration of the Jackpocket brand into various Barstool platforms. An upcoming live-streamed event will feature Barstool Sports’ Jersey Jerry and the Jerry After Dark team collaborating with Jackpocket to select a winning lottery ticket among thousands.

Jackpocket’s content will also be incorporated with personalities like Big Cat & PFT from Pardon My Take and Wallo & Gillie from Million Dollaz Worth of Game.

Jackpocket plans to introduce new content, activations, and opportunities for Barstool fans to win cash and Jackpocket credits.
