Jason La Canfora: My NFL Season Future Bets

The array of NFL futures available can be overwhelming, but with a lot to sort through, we are explaining our favorite team plays here.

One strategy we follow is not making bets that can’t be cashed for six months unless we can double our money. Parlaying bets at lesser odds to get that higher return is something we find beneficial.

When identifying mispriced teams, we look for alternate markets or less traditional options to back or fade them. Here are some favorites:

Patriots To Miss The Playoffs (+183): Last year, fading the Commanders turned out well, and this year we are fading New England due to roster deficits and a tougher schedule.

Bears Over 11.5 Wins (+310): Chicago could be a strong regular-season team with elite run game and improved offensive line.

Bengals To Win Division (+200): We believe Cincinnati has the potential to win the division with a defense showing promise and Joe Burrow on a mission.

49ers Under 8.5 Wins (+200): We foresee issues for San Francisco this season and expect them to fall short of 8.5 wins.

Bears to Win More Games Than 49ers (+155): Pairing an undervalued team like Chicago against an inflated team like San Francisco seems logical with corresponding markets.

Bills, Patriots, Dolphins, Jets – Exact Finish (+475): We predict New England to fall off, Buffalo to excel, and Miami to outperform the Jets due to better coaching and quarterback situation.

Buccaneers To Win Division (+223): Tampa Bay is favored to win the division with solid coaching and potential to secure another division title in the NFC South.
