One of the cases involved a man arrested for allegedly killing his ex-wife’s girlfriend and critically injuring his ex-wife in Las Vegas.

At around 4:45 p.m. on Friday, the two women were shot while in a car near Blanton and Sacks drives, in what authorities suspect was a jealousy-driven attack.

The suspect, identified as Adrian Rodriguez-Guillen, 41, allegedly approached the women’s vehicle.

He got out of his car and then allegedly shot the two women. The ex-wife’s girlfriend died at the scene.

The ex-wife was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center for treatment and is expected to recover, according to police.

Following the shootings, Rodriguez-Guillen contacted the police department to report the incident. He remained at the scene until officers arrived.

Rodriguez-Guillen faces charges of open murder and attempted murder. He was incarcerated at the Clark County Detention Center without bail. He appeared in court over the weekend.

If convicted, he could face a lengthy prison sentence.
