Red Rock Resorts is excited to announce the grand opening of the new high-limit slot room and a 2,000-space parking garage at the Durango location on December 15.

This announcement, made on Monday, follows the recent unveiling of a 6,000-square-foot expansion of the gaming floor, which occurred just days earlier on Friday. The expansion introduces an additional 100 slot machines and gaming options.

“We are thrilled to present the initial phase of Durango’s expansion, which includes one of the finest high-limit slot rooms in the city,” expressed David Horn, vice president and general manager of Durango, in an official statement. With an increase in gaming space and the latest machines, complemented by convenient covered parking and attentive service in our high-limit area, we are dedicated to providing our guests with a vibrant and convenient gaming experience.

The new high-limit room, set to open at 5 p.m., will showcase 120 slot machines, featuring 30 brand-new games, a “Jackpot Express” payout system, along with a dedicated cage to expedite payouts. The parking structure will be available from 10 a.m. onward, offering complimentary parking for all patrons.

This investment of $120 million marks the first major upgrades since Durango’s debut in December 2023.

Recently, Red Rock officials disclosed plans for a second major expansion: a $385 million, 18-month project aimed at enhancing the facility by adding over 275,000 square feet, which will include 400 additional slot machines, a 36-lane bowling alley, luxury cinemas, a selection of new dining options and a food hall, as well as various entertainment venues.
