Las Vegas is celebrated as a hub of indulgence, where what occurs stays here. While many loyal visitors see this city as paradise, a recent analysis reveals that Las Vegas serves as an exceptional locale for celebrating Christianity’s most significant holiday.

Easter, which commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ, stands as the cornerstone of Christian celebrations. A new report from WalletHub, a finance-focused platform that frequently disseminates research and insights on various American issues, indicates that Las Vegas is an outstanding venue for an unforgettable Easter.
Las Vegas received notable ratings for its pleasant Easter weather and local traditions, which include a variety of dining options for Easter brunch, candy and chocolate vendors, and numerous flower and gift shops.
Interestingly, Las Vegas hosts a wide array of Christian churches, including prominent Evangelical megachurches such as Central Church in Henderson, the International Church of Las Vegas, and Canyon Ridge.
“The top cities for Easter embrace the holiday’s spiritual essence by providing ample opportunities for Christians to attend services while ensuring that all families can enjoy the festivities,” explained WalletHub analyst Chip Lupo.
“This translates to numerous venues for delectable treats or dining, accompanied by favorable weather and spacious areas ideal for Easter egg hunts,” Lupo added.
Easter in Las Vegas
Las Vegas offers a feast of Easter buffets on Sunday, April 5.
Special holiday menus featuring endless lobster, crab, prime rib, lamb, and glazed ham, complemented by sides like scalloped potatoes and roasted asparagus, are available at premium prices. For instance, The Buffet at Wynn Las Vegas and Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace charge approximately $100 per person for their Easter offerings.
While Easter meals may be pricey and reservations are filling up quickly, a range of budget-friendly accommodation options at major Strip hotels remains accessible. For a Friday to Monday stay, Wynn Las Vegas charges $343 per night, Bellagio $311, and Caesars Palace $276, which includes resort fees but excludes taxes.
More affordable choices on the Strip include Park MGM ($192), Planet Hollywood ($186), Resorts World Conrad ($153), Flamingo ($146), Treasure Island ($93), and Excalibur ($106). In Downtown, Circa charges $174, the D is $79, and Golden Gate $67.
Easter Spending Insights
WalletHub anticipates that Americans will allocate $25 billion for this Easter holiday, with $3.5 billion earmarked for candy purchases alone.
In light of the current economic climate and stock market uncertainties, the report revealed that one in four Americans believes “Easter won’t be financially manageable this year.” Nearly one in three participants expressed that they “lack confidence in their financial situation as spring approaches.”
