“I always bring the energy, and Las Vegas is the perfect place to create an unforgettable experience for my fans,” stated the rapper, born Curtis Jackson. “We’re planning big production, surprises, and the ultimate New Year’s Eve party.”
50 Cent has a history with Vegas dating back to 2010 when he performed at Pure (Omnia) at Caesars Palace. Most recently, he had two performances at Drai’s at the Cromwell last month.
Tickets will be available to the public starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, via Ticketmaster, with pre-sales beginning on Wednesday, October 16.
When They Were Spurned
The All-American Rejects have pulled out of the When We Were Young (WWWY) festival, scheduled to perform on Saturday and Sunday at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.
In a statement posted on Instagram, the band clarified: “There has been a change in management within the WWWY operation, and they are no longer able to include us in the previously agreed-upon line-up, making it impossible for us to continue.”
This suggests they were promised a headlining position on the main stage that they did not receive. The set times and stage placements were disclosed on Monday.
Artists on the 2024 lineup will play one of their albums in full. My Chemical Romance will present 2006’s “The Black Parade,” Fall Out Boy 2005’s “From Under the Cork Tree,” and Jimmy Eat World 2001’s “Bleed American.” The Rejects were set to perform their 2002 self-titled debut album.
“We are particularly disappointed not to be able to perform for those of you who are traveling from around the world to witness the visual and sonic spectacle we have been preparing in our cauldron,” concluded the band’s statement. “We apologize to our fantastic crew who have been working tirelessly to create the magic.”
Chicago is Venetian’s Kind of Band
Chicago will be back at The Venetian Theatre from February 28 to March 15.
This marks Chicago’s eighth year headlining a residency at The Venetian. In 2024, the iconic rock band celebrated its 50th show there, making it the longest-running residency in the venue’s history.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 18, with pre-sales currently ongoing.
