Enjoy Free Fireworks

When the clock strikes midnight on December 31, the sky above the Strip will ignite with a 10-minute display of fireworks. The “America’s Party” show, choreographed to perfection, will launch from various rooftops including Aria, Caesars Palace, MGM Grand, Planet Hollywood, Resorts World, the STRAT, Treasure Island, and the Venetian.

And the best part? It won’t cost you anything to watch.

Attend Fireworks Viewing Parties

If you’d prefer to avoid the crowd and enjoy a more exclusive experience, the Strip offers several public viewing parties at rooftop nightclubs featuring popular DJs and rappers. Admission usually starts at $100 or more. Here are some of the biggest parties this year.

  • Steve Aoki at Omnia at Caesars Palace
  • T-Pain at Zouk at Resorts World
  • Lil Wayne at Drai’s at The Cromwell
  • DJ Pauly D at the Marquee at the Cosmopolitan
  • T. Genasis at Tao at the Venetian
  • The Chainsmokers at XS at Wynn

For a different experience, you can head to the Ice Rink on the fourth floor of the Cosmopolitan’s Boulevard Tower where $100 will get you skating and a champagne toast at midnight. For a higher vantage point, consider attending the “Party at the Top” event at the STRAT’s rooftop for $150 per person.

Indulge in a Special Dinner

For a more intimate experience, opt for a special dinner with a view of the fireworks. The Chandelier Bar offers a multi-course meal for $250 per person on its 64th floor, while the Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay provides a dining experience on the 63rd floor for $300 per person.

Other dining options include the Eiffel Tower Restaurant or Beer Park at Paris Las Vegas, Aqua Seafood & Caviar or Bar Zazu at Resorts World, all priced around $200-$300 per person. For a more budget-friendly option, the STRAT’s rooftop restaurant, Top of the World, offers seating starting at $155.

Attend a Concert

While many New Year’s Eve concerts are sold out, tickets can often be found on resale sites like Stubhub. Some of the top concerts happening on New Year’s Eve include performances by Bruno Mars, Janet Jackson, Imagine Dragons, 50 Cent, and more.

Additional performances by artists like Lil Jon at Jewel at Aria and Tiësto at LIV at Fontainebleau will also take place. Fremont Street Experience hosts the “Time of Your Life Celebration” with a lineup of musicians including Flo Rida, LoCash, Bow Wow, and Dylan Marlowe. Tickets for this event start at $60.
