- Palms Casino Resort is hosting a summer camp for adults this July
- Camp Palms is strictly for those aged 21+, with a “No Children” policy
A Las Vegas resort is giving adults the chance to experience a nostalgic summer getaway. Instead of juice boxes, you can enjoy sumptuous cocktails and lavish accommodations.

Camp Palms will operate all through July, inviting anyone over 21 to come and relive carefree summer adventures without kids around.
“Where legends get spun, rules get reshaped, and every evening becomes a tale retold for years,” promises the casino about Camp Palms.
Beyond the age restriction, all participants must arrive without children to join the summer camp fun.
Camp Palms offers a designated space within the resort, open from 5 PM until late Wednesday to Sunday, conveniently located near Scotch 80 Prime, right off the casino floor.
Details of Camp Palms
Once inside Camp Palms, attendees will find themselves in a whimsical wilderness complete with tall pines, serene lakes, cozy campfires, and playful woodland creatures.
Camp staff will include an exuberant Camp Director named Larry, enthusiastic counselors Sandy and Brad, the charming Nurse Candy, and attentive Ranger Rick. Expect additional fun from “resident wildlife” like Tokey the Bear and Foxie Roxie.
Promoted as a “dynamic, immersive summer camp experience,” Camp Palms will provide catered meals, delightful treats, and bar service, including a fun “Backwoods Bottle Service” featuring shots and Jell-O shots.
Classic tunes from the 70s and 80s will create a nostalgic ambiance, encouraging singing and dancing that embodies the spirit of summer liberation.
There is no entry fee or camp charge; just bring the spirit to revive your youthful summer essence.
Exploring Adult Summer Camps
Adult summer camps have existed since the 1920s, initially serving as retreats for cultural, spiritual, and political gatherings for adults.
The resurgence of adult summer camps began in the 2010s, spurred by the proliferation of smartphones. As digital interactions took over, many sought refuge in these camps to disconnect and rejuvenate their social lives.
Recently, adult camps have grown in response to the “loneliness epidemic,” a term used by health experts highlighting the social disconnect caused by digitization, nomadic lifestyles, and the lasting impact of COVID-19 on interactions.
In 2023, the US Surgeon General published a report titled “Our Epidemic of Loneliness and Isolation,” revealing that isolation correlates with increased risks of premature death, heart disease, and type 2 diabetes by roughly 30%.
“Humans naturally thrive on social connections, yet isolation has become more prevalent. Maintaining social bonds is as crucial for our survival as food and water,” stated the Surgeon General.
The report urged individuals to prioritize relationship building, engage in community activities, and seek avenues to offer support to others.
