Latest Music Updates from Vegas: Unreleased Sinatra Performance at Sands, Manilow Show Cancellations, Boyz II Men Updates

For the 60th anniversary of Sinatra at the Sands, Capitol Records/UMe and Frank Sinatra Enterprises are releasing two new editions on Oct. 23, 2026.

The highlight is a 5-CD box set with five full, previously unreleased concerts from Sinatra’s 1966 Copa Room shows with Count Basie & The Orchestra, conducted by Quincy Jones. Fans will experience the complete shows from Jan. 26-Feb. 1, 1966 for the first time, with all the changes, monologues, and setlist variations.

The concerts are as follows:

  • Disc 1: Jan. 26 – Second Show
  • Disc 2: Jan. 27 – First Show
  • Disc 3: Jan. 28 – First Show (+ bonus tracks “Angel Eyes” and “Where Or When” from the second show)
  • Disc 4: Jan. 29 – First Show
  • Disc 5: Feb. 1 – Second Show

Sinatra performed classics like “Come Fly With Me,” “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” “Fly Me to the Moon,” “Luck Be a Lady,” “It Was a Very Good Year,” and “My Kind of Town” during the shows, interspersed with spoken segments such as “The Tea Break” and “A Few Last Words.”

Barry Manilow paused and canceled shows at the Westgate Las Vegas due to technical and vocal problems. On Aug. 20, he stopped mid-performance of “Can’t Smile Without You” and canceled subsequent shows on Aug. 21-22.

Regarding refunds, Manilow stated that all Aug. 20–22 tickets would be refunded automatically. Details about the technical issues and his vocal health were not disclosed.

Manilow recently resumed performing after his December 2025 lung cancer surgery, with upcoming shows scheduled at the Westgate’s International Theater through December 2026.

Boyz II Men Return

Boyz II Men will perform at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan on March 12, 13, 19 and 20, 2027. Tickets go on sale on Aug. 28, with presales available for Citi cardmembers before the general public.

Fontainebleau Concerts

Triumph will rock the BleauLive Theater at Fontainebleau on Dec. 1, 2026, followed by Grasshopper on Nov. 27-28, 2026. Presales begin soon, with general tickets on sale on Aug. 27.
