Polymarket, the largest prediction market worldwide in terms of trading volume, is looking to gain a bigger market share on Polymarket.us through strategic partnerships with top names in sports and entertainment.

Given that sports markets dominate prediction market volume, Polymarket has enlisted LeBron James, Derek Jeter, and Eli Manning to endorse its sports event contracts. These three legends boast a collective 11 championship titles.
James, Jeter, and Manning are supporting the launch of Polymarket HQ, a fictional headquarters where each floor represents a specific trading category. The first ad features James at the “Sports” floor, witnessing a bustling scene of athletes and celebrities engaging in Polymarket trading.
In addition to James, Jeter, and Manning, the commercial includes appearances by Spike Lee, Alexandra Daddario, John Leguizamo, Craig Robinson, Rajon Rondo, Reggie Bush, and Sue Bird.
With over 231 million social media followers and global fame, LeBron is a sought-after figure for endorsements. His partnership with Polymarket comes after his marketing deal with DraftKings, another prediction market investor, ended in the recent months.
Polymarket Groups
Polymarket aims to enhance the social aspect of trading on prediction markets by introducing “Squads,” private spaces within the Polymarket app where friends can interact, discuss markets, and share predictions.
People are constantly debating with friends about future events and sharing predictions in group chats,” said Travis VanderZanden, Polymarket’s chief growth officer. “With Squads, we’re merging conversations and trading so friends can track events they care about and make predictions efficiently.”
Polymarket plans to leverage the Polymarket HQ campaign to promote Squads, offering a seamless integration of group chat discussions into the prediction market ecosystem.
Through Squads, users can create exclusive groups, invite friends, discuss games and markets, share positions and combinations, and stay informed about other Squad members’ trades.
Enhancing Prediction Markets Socialization
Polymarket remains committed to making prediction markets a more interactive and communal experience.
In March, Polymarket opened The Situation Room, a pop-up prediction market hub in Washington, DC. This venue, described as a “newsbar” on K Street, featured live Polymarket markets, news feeds, and Bloomberg terminals alongside a bar and light bites.
Despite facing challenges such as a power outage on opening night, The Situation Room mainly attracted journalists instead of regular customers and traders.
