A bronze statue of Bob Stupak who was the former chairman of the Stratosphere casino, has reappeared on eBay after being unseen for over 20 years. The current owner is asking for $90,000 or best offer for the statue with a questionable claim of being plated in 24 karat gold.

The statue disappeared from the Stratosphere shortly after Stupak’s resignation in 1996 and has since passed through various hands, reappearing at different places including a casino museum at the Tropicana.

Stupak’s Journey

Bob Stupak, known as “the Polish Maverick,” started his career in the casino industry after various ventures in Pittsburgh. He established Bob Stupak’s World Famous Million-Dollar Historic Gambling Museum and Casino, which unfortunately burned down in a suspicious fire two months later.
