<p>Rapper Macklemore has been removed from the lineup of the Neon City Festival in downtown Las Vegas, creating headlines for the music festival.</p>

During his performance at the Palestine Will Live Forever Festival in Seattle, Macklemore shouted “F**k America!”

The rapper, whose real name is Ben Haggerty, is an advocate for the Palestinian people and their grievances against the Israeli government. The festival supported organizations like the United Nations Relief & Works Agency.

Neon City Festival organizers swiftly removed Macklemore from the lineup, citing “unforeseen circumstances.” They are now looking for new artists to replace him.

The Kraken and Sounders, professional sports teams in Seattle minority-owned by Macklemore, are evaluating their options in response to his divisive comments.
