A medical student studying ultrasound techniques in Southern California has received the keys to a luxurious home worth $2.2 million in Irvine, thanks to Pechanga Resort Casino.
The Pechanga Resort Casino recently wrapped up its multi-month “Home Sweet Win” campaign, which allowed Pechanga Rewards Card members the chance to become one of 20 Lucky Key Finalists vying for a luxurious, fully furnished home.
According to Pechanga, Anahy M. was among the fortunate finalists who had an opportunity to compete for the luxurious residence. Anahy secured her victory during the grand giveaway event on Saturday, May 30.
This win is transformative for Anahy, a mother of a seven-year-old daughter aspiring to become an ultrasound technician.
“In 2024, I relocated to Los Angeles from Perris, CA, to pursue my education, but the high rent costs forced us to move into my parents’ garage. I never expected life would bring me here. My ultimate dream has always been to secure a brighter future for my daughter,” Anahy expressed.
Anahy detailed that the garage measures only 500 square feet, but she’s now transitioning to a luxurious $2.2 million home.
Pechanga Rewards Campaign
Pechanga’s Home Sweet Win promotion brought in 20 lucky finalists to the tribal casino, run by the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians. These finalists were chosen at random, and members earned entries for every spin on slot machines and bets placed at table games.
During the grand finale, each of the 20 finalists received a key. They took turns attempting to unlock a door until Anahy successfully turned the lock, claiming ownership of the custom-built home from Taylor Morrison, a leading home construction firm. Home makeover expert Ty Pennington served as the event’s host.
Two other finalists from the Home Sweet Win campaign also received $50,000 cash prizes.
“Witnessing someone’s life transform in an instant is truly unique,” remarked Sean Vasquez, president of the Pechanga Development Corporation. “On Saturday, that pivotal moment belonged to Anahy and her family, and the joy in that room perfectly embodies the essence of the Home Sweet Win campaign.”
Anahy’s new residence is situated in Orange County, and she is accountable for all applicable taxes and fees, including federal and state income taxes, property taxes, and insurance related to the title and the property.
As a frequent visitor to Pechanga, Anahy mentioned that she had previously won a $10,000 jackpot on a slot machine earlier this year.
