This year, Modo Casino is partnering with online sweepstakes casino competitor Chumba to participate in the Daytona 500.
Recently, Modo, an online sweepstakes platform run by ARB Interactive, announced a broader partnership with Spire Motorsports, featuring Michael McDowell’s No. 71 car. This collaboration builds upon their initial agreement from last August, which saw Carson Hocevar’s No. 77 car racing in four events during 2025.
The partnership for 2026 elevates Modo Casino to the role of primary sponsor for McDowell’s Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, No. 71.
“Following the excitement we generated last year, we are thrilled to significantly grow our involvement with Spire Motorsports for the 2026 season,” expressed David Jumper, chief marketing officer of ARB Interactive. “Seeing our brand on Carson Hocevar’s car for four events was just the starting point; as we move into 2026, we’re excited to support multiple drivers throughout the Cup Series, from the iconic Daytona 500 to the season finale in our Miami hometown.”

NASCAR Welcomes Sweepstakes Casinos
Online sweepstakes casinos offer interactive gaming options, including online slots, table games, and live dealer experiences. While these platforms promote themselves as free-to-play social gaming websites and applications, critics argue that their dual-currency systems effectively enable unregulated real-money online gambling, potentially breaching state gaming laws.
Gaming regulators, attorneys general, and the legitimate gaming industry, represented by the American Gaming Association and the Indian Gaming Association, contend that sweepstakes casinos operate illegally. Multiple states have issued cease and desist orders, and several have enacted laws prohibiting dual-currency sweepstakes promotions entirely.
Despite significant backlash, NASCAR permits its teams to partner with these leading sites.
Chumba and 23XI Racing Collaboration
The announcement regarding Modo Casino comes after Chumba Casino extended its partnership with Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin’s 23XI Racing last month. This arrangement involves showcasing the sweepstakes casino branding on Tyler Reddick’s No. 45 Toyota XSE during the Daytona 500.
Known as The Great American Race, the 68th Daytona 500 on February 15 signifies the first occasion where two cars will feature an online sweepstakes casino’s branding prominently.
In previous years, DraftKings Sportsbook and Fanatics Sportsbooks have sponsored vehicles at the Daytona 500, and Hard Rock Bet serves as an official partner of Daytona International Speedway.
