Mohegan Sun in Connecticut has launched its new Sky Slot Tournament Zone, strategically located near the Cabaret Theatre, responding to the growing enthusiasm for slot competitions.

This innovative zone showcases over 40 IGT games, such as Wheel of Fortune, Hex Breaker, Cleopatra, and Stinkin’ Rich, enabling a seamless transition between tournament play and regular gameplay.

The area is tailored for Momentum members who wish to participate in thrilling slot tournaments, with prize pools reaching up to $50,000. To commemorate this launch, Mohegan Sun is providing a hotel package that includes $50 in complimentary slot play.

The upcoming tournament at the Sky Slot Tournament Zone is set for 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, as part of the $15,000 Veteran’s Day Slot Tournament. Momentum guests can register either on-site or via Tournament Zone kiosks.

During the tournaments, participants are randomly allocated to slot machines and offered unlimited spins within a designated time frame. Players accumulate points through hitting winning combinations or bonuses on the reels; the more spins executed within the time limit, the higher the potential total score.

The scores accumulated across all tournament rounds are aggregated to establish the final tournament rankings.
