Cheap Trick, the ‘70s rockers who had a hit covering Elvis Presley’s “Don’t Be Cruel” in 1988, will return to the King’s former stage at the Westgate. On Feb. 8, they’ll perform in the International Theater for only the second time. (The first was back in 2009, when it was still called the Las Vegas Hilton Theater.)

Tickets for Cheap Trick’s return go on sale 10 a.m. PT Friday, November 15 via Ticketmaster.com.

The B-52s have added 2025 dates to their “LOVESHACK” residency at the Venetian, which they began in May 2023 as the supposed finale of their “Farewell Tour.”

The new-wave foursome — who perform as a trio since Keith Strickland retired from touring in 2012 — cap off their 2024 at the Venetian Theatre on November 13. Then they’ll roam back home for a hometown show in Athens, Ga. on Dec. 14 and return for (at least) five more Venetian dates: April 11, 12, 16, 18 and 19.

Tickets for the 2025 dates go on sale 10 a.m. PT Friday, November 15 via Ticketmaster. A Live Nation pre-sale began this morning (use access code BEATS).

Duran Duran Add an Eve

If it were up to us, Duran Duran would not only play Vegas on New Year’s Eve but at the Rio. (Get it?)

Unfortunately, the ’80s stalwarts already picked the Fontainebleau’s Bleau ive Theater, where they previously announced a show on Dec. 30, or New Year’s Eve Eve.

“Duran Duran is more than a hit-making powerhouse, they are an iconic household name that always brings the energy for an incredible show,” Fontainebleau Sr. VP of Entertainment Fedor Banuchi said in a statement. “We are thrilled to close out the year with them.”

On Thursday, the boys added a second show, but that’s not on New Year’s Eve, either. It’s on Dec. 29. (So New Year’s Eve Eve Eve.) Tickets for the added show will go on sale 10 a.m. PT Friday, Nov. 15 here.
