Nevada: Green Valley Ranch poker room at Station Casinos to reopen later this year

Later this year, Station Casino will launch its poker room at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson as part of a substantial $200 million renovation. Located within the lively Green Valley area, the casino is conveniently situated just 15 minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip.

The 23-year-old resort is making significant upgrades to its rooms, suites, and convention spaces, as reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The poker room will be restored to its original position next to the sportsbook and will feature 16 brand-new tables and chairs, nearly doubling its size compared to pre-pandemic conditions.

Though an official reopening date has yet to be announced, it is expected to be “late 2025,” accompanied by special tournaments and giveaways. The poker room was shut down in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic and transformed into a smoke-free area dedicated to slot machines.

The revamped poker room will operate 24/7, making it the only card room in Henderson. According to Poker News, patrons can anticipate primarily low-stakes games, reminiscent of what was available before the room’s closure in 2020.

Station Casinos also manages three additional poker rooms: one at Boulder Station, located east of the Strip, one at Red Rock in Summerlin, west of the Strip, and a third at Santa Fe Station in the northwest part of the city.
