Nevada’s gaming revenue has shown a steady upward trend in the first 11 months of 2025, with total earnings increasing by 1.5%. The Las Vegas Strip has seen a slight rise despite a decrease in visitor numbers, according to figures released by the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB).

Year-to-date gaming revenue on the Strip rose nearly 1%, although results for November indicated a small decline. All principal gaming markets in Nevada, barring North Shore Lake Tahoe, experienced growth for the year to date, with Lake Tahoe showing a revenue drop of 7.7%, as stated by the regulator. The board will publish its final report for December in the last week of January.

Total gaming win for the state reached $1.348 billion in November, reflecting a 2.4% year-on-year increase. For the fiscal year encompassing July through November, gaming revenue rose by 2.83%. However, the percentage fees collected in December, based on November’s taxable revenue, saw a 5.37% dip to $82.5 million, while total fiscal year-to-date collections increased by 4.89% to $513.3 million.

Slots have remained a crucial driving force for statewide growth. Slot wins surged by 7.7% in November to $873.3 million, with coin-in growing by 3.6% to $12.8 billion. In contrast, table games saw a win reduction of 6.2% to $474.6 million, with baccarat wins dropping by 6% even though wagering volume increased by 8.6%. The overall table game hold fell to 13.9%, down from 15.1% the previous year.

Sports betting also showed improvement, as Nevada sportsbooks recorded $72.9 million in winnings for November, up 7.9% from the previous year, with total bets amounting to $908.1 million. Mobile betting accounted for an impressive 72.1% of all wagers, as mobile handle grew by 11.8%.

On the Las Vegas Strip, gaming win in November decreased by 0.6% to $784.3 million, but year-to-date revenue remains up by 0.7%. Slot winnings rose 5.5% to $421.6 million, which helped offset losses in table games and baccarat. Even as hold weakened, baccarat volume on the Strip jumped by 9.2%.

Downtown Las Vegas demonstrated one of the most positive monthly performances, with total revenue up 10.3% to $87.2 million. Slot wins soared by 15%, with game and table revenue climbing by 3.3%. Other markets in Clark County also experienced significant gains, including the Boulder Strip, which saw revenue rise by 20%, and Laughlin, which increased by 11.61%.

In northern Nevada, Washoe County’s gaming win grew by 6.4% in November, reaching $80.9 million, primarily driven by Reno, where revenue expanded by 7.1%. Elko County recorded a 5.3% increase, while Sparks and South Lake Tahoe experienced minor declines.
