The recent advancements in casino operations have led to a remarkable increase in Nebraska’s gaming revenue for February, reaching $26.4 million—up by 56.7% from the previous year.

Data released by the Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission indicates that the rise in revenue was supported by enhanced gaming capacity, including a permanent venue in Grand Island and the expansion of the WarHorse Casino Omaha.

Grand Island Casino recorded the highest year-over-year growth among the state’s casinos, with revenue hitting $5.6 million in February, which is an impressive 85.5% increase compared to $3 million last year. This facility opened its permanent location in April.

WarHorse Casino Omaha posted revenues of $9.9 million, the highest among all Nebraska casinos. This figure represents a substantial 62.1% year-over-year growth following its expansion in April.

WarHorse Casino Lincoln achieved $7.7 million in revenue, reflecting a 33.6% increase compared to the same month last year. In Harrah’s Columbus, revenues totaled $2.1 million, marking a 7% year-on-year rise. Lake Mac Casino, which commenced operations in August, reported $1.1 million in revenue for February.

Slot machines accounted for $22.5 million of the total revenue across the state, signifying a 61.8% uptick from the prior year.

Table games contributed $2.1 million, representing a 17.4% increase. Electronic table games added $858,476, while retail sports betting generated $877,696.
