A new version of Aristocrat Gaming’s popular “Dragon Link” slot machines is set to debut at the Venetian Las Vegas and it could potentially change the lives of lucky players.
The Australian slot machine manufacturer announced today that the first “Dragon Link” slots with a top jackpot prize of $2 million have been introduced at the Venetian and the Palazzo. These two Las Vegas Strip casinos are already home to the $1 million version of the game.
Players at both properties can choose from Dragon Link Genghis Khan™ and Dragon Link Peace and Long Life™. Both variants are presented on the MarsX™ Upright cabinet by Aristocrat Gaming,” as stated in a release by Aristocrat.
The $2 million “Dragon Link” machines will be located alongside the $1 million versions in high-limit areas. At the Venetian, they will be housed in the High-Limit Slots Salon, while at the Palazzo, the slots will be found in the high-limit gaming lounge. Lower maximum jackpot versions of the game can be found on the main floors of the two casinos.
Venetian ‘Dragon Link’ Slots Won’t Be Cheap
Although slot jackpots can be life-changing akin to winning the lottery, the financial commitment needed to play these machines is significantly higher.
Stories of players hitting large jackpots on slot machines for minimal bets are common in Las Vegas and other casino markets. However, games with massive payout potential often require high bets. Earlier this year, a Caesars Palace Las Vegas guest won large sums on a “Dragon Link” machine, but each spin cost $2,500.
On the other hand, most lottery tickets cost just $1, while Mega Millions and Powerball tickets are priced at $2 each. Mega Millions tickets will increase to $5 in the coming months.
Aristocrat’s announcement regarding the launch of the $2 million “Dragon Link” slots at Venetian Palazzo did not specify the cost of maximum credit bets, but it is expected that each play will be expensive due to the potential payouts and the location of the machines in high-limit rooms.
‘Dragon Link’ has Slot Star Power
While comparing inanimate objects to celebrities may seem far-fetched, some products attain a similar level of fame. In the gaming world, “Dragon Link” can be considered the equivalent of a celebrity due to its immense popularity.
