November Sees Record Win for New Jersey Online Casinos

New Jersey online casinos hit a record month in November, with gross gaming revenue from interactive slots and table games totaling $171.5 million. The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement shared the results.

Online slots and tables won $169.5 million, and poker rake from internet games was a little more than $2 million, for a 17% increase from November 2022 when online GGR totaled $146.1 million. With a month remaining, iGaming’s GGR of $1.74 billion already exceeds the amount won in all of 2022.

The revenue leaders were Golden Nugget with $50.1 million, Resorts with $47.2 million, and Borgata with $37.9 million.

Casino revenues in Atlantic City totaled approximately $214.9 million in November 2023, marking a slight 0.2% increase from the previous year. Table game win was down 6.5% to $54 million, while slots grew revenue by almost 3% to $160.9 million. Through 11 months, Atlantic City casino revenue totals over $2.6 billion, a 1.8% increase from last year.

In November, Atlantic City’s revenues were the second-best in 10 years. Borgata topped the property list with $51.6 million, followed by Hard Rock at $41.4 million and Ocean at $31.4 million.

Record Sports Bets

New Jersey sportsbooks took record action in November, with handle topping $1.62 billion. Bettors lost nearly $95.9 million, 19% more than in November 2022.

The FanDuel Sportsbook at the Meadowlands racetrack in North Jersey continued its dominance with $57.6 million in November and about $432.5 million through 11 months.
