A joint project by Caesars Entertainment and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (EBCI), the $750 million resort will commence its casino operations on December 12, including 1,500 slot machines, 79 live dealer table games, a Caesars Sportsbook, and a World Series of Poker Room.

For guests looking to stay overnight or extend their visit, Caesars Danville is now accepting room reservations starting from December 13.

Caesars Virginia offers 320 guestrooms, each around 400 square feet, with amenities such as an outdoor pool, fitness center, spa, self-parking, and 12 dining options.

Danville was selected for a casino following state legislation in 2020, with overwhelming support from voters during a citywide referendum in November 2020.

Opening Rates

Caesars Virginia will be the third permanent casino in Virginia, following Rivers Casino Portsmouth and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol.

Room rates for the opening weekend at Caesars Virginia are high, starting at $999 for a two-night stay in a Luxury Room.

The total cost for two nights, including taxes and resort fees, amounts to $2,370.56, or $1,185.28 per night.

The $35 daily resort fee at Caesars Virginia covers valet parking, pool access, Wi-Fi, and local calling.

For guests wanting to explore the new casino without the premium rates, nearby accommodations like Comfort Inn, Hampton Inn, and Courtyard by Marriott offer more affordable options.

Many residents near Caesars Virginia are also renting out their properties through services like Vrbo and Airbnb to capitalize on the casino’s opening.

Three Stacks Opens

The first restaurant to open at Caesars Virginia is Three Stacks, a quick-serve American eatery named after the property’s historic “Three Sisters” smokestacks.

Offering a variety of dishes, Three Stacks will serve guests until the main restaurant, Ramsay’s Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay, is launched.

The resort will also feature the 500 Block Food Hall, combining burgers, pizza, and BBQ in one location.
