The suspect, identified as 29-year-old Clyde Cabulisan, eventually crashed the stolen police vehicle into another car after a dramatic chase. Both Cabulisan and the occupants of the other vehicle sustained injuries in the collision.

The incident began late Tuesday night in the unincorporated town of Enterprise, Nev., when authorities received reports of a naked man on the street. The responding officer confronted the suspect, but a physical altercation ensued, allowing Cabulisan to seize control of the patrol vehicle and flee the scene.

The stolen police vehicle was pursued by multiple officers for over five miles, with the chase ultimately ending in a crash on Rainbow Boulevard. Cabulisan crossed into oncoming traffic and disregarded traffic signals, colliding with a Ford Explorer occupied by a 34-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man.

The crash resulted in critical injuries for the victims, who were rushed to University Medical Center for emergency treatment, while Cabulisan and the initial officer involved in the altercation sustained minor injuries.

A witness named Kyle Even captured the incident on video. Even expressed his relief that the officer did not get run over during the struggle.

After the arrest, Cabulisan was booked at Clark County Detention Center. He is facing charges of robbery, disobeying a peace officer, endangering people/property, grand larceny of a motor vehicle, and battery on a protected person. His court appearance is scheduled for Thursday.

According to authorities, Cabulisan was believed to have been experiencing a mental health crisis at the time of the incident.
