Police apparently shot at a man who was holding a knife while in the parking lot of Oklahoma’s River Bend Casino, according to initial news reports. The confrontation at the tribal gaming property took place on Thursday morning.

It is unclear if the suspect was injured. Nor was it immediately known what led up to the incident.
The name of the suspect was not released by authorities, KSN, a local TV station, reported. It is not clear if anyone was charged.
Casino.org reached out to the casino for conformation and details on the reported shooting. A spokesperson did not respond immediately.
The casino is located in Wyandotte, Okla. It is about 91 miles northeast of Tulsa.
River Bend Casino and Hotel is one of four properties owned by the Wyandotte Tribe of Oklahoma.
