WarHorse Casino Omaha is operational again after a brief closure due to an HVAC issue that the company officials attributed to the cause.
WarHorse Casino Omaha opened at Horsemen’s Park in Nebraska on August 6, attracting crowds eager to try their luck on the available gaming options. The casino provided various gaming options, including slot machines, live dealer table games, and a sportsbook.
The casino temporarily closed due to the technical issue but has since reopened after the HVAC system repair was completed in around eight hours.
According to Lance Morgan, CEO of Ho-Chunk, Inc., the parent company of WarHorse Casino Omaha, the closure was a precautionary measure to prevent potential damage to electronic equipment within the facility.
Ho-Chunk, Inc. partnered with the Nebraska Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association (NHBPA) after the legalization of commercial casino gambling at the state’s licensed horse racetracks in 2020.
