PENN Entertainment launches second hotel tower at Las Vegas’ M Resort

PENN Entertainment has announced the debut of its second hotel tower at the M Resort Spa Casino in Las Vegas, successfully completing the project ahead of schedule and within budget as a key component of the company’s larger U.S. expansion strategy.

This new tower nearly doubles the resort's accommodations, increasing its capacity to 765 rooms and suites. The expansion also features the new 15,000-square-foot Montese Ballroom, which began operations in October 2025, expanding the total indoor and outdoor conference and event space at the property—situated just south of the Las Vegas Strip—to over 100,000 square feet. Additionally, the development is expected to create roughly 120 new jobs.

A grand opening celebration is slated for December 3, which will feature various distinguished guests, drone performances, and musical entertainment.

“We are excited to formally inaugurate the new tower at our leading M Resort property, which greatly enhances our capacity to welcome guests and host group business,” stated CEO Jay Snowden. He emphasized that this development demonstrates PENN’s commitment to delivering unparalleled entertainment and hospitality experiences as it continues to grow.

The company secured a $150 million investment for the project from Gaming and Leisure Properties on November 3, with a capitalization rate of 7.79%.

This tower is the latest addition to PENN's five planned expansion initiatives, following the launch of the new Hollywood Casino Joliet in August 2025. Other upcoming projects are on track and include land-based developments at Hollywood Casino Aurora in Illinois, alongside a hotel tower at Hollywood Casino Columbus, both expected to open by late Q2 2026. The relocation of Hollywood Casino Council Bluffs is planned for late 2027 or early 2028.
