Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board includes 22 individuals on involuntary exclusion lists

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has added 22 individuals to its Involuntary Exclusion Lists, disallowing them from participating in gambling activities at casinos, video gaming terminal (VGT) sites, and state-regulated online betting platforms.

Among those barred, five adults were recorded leaving minors unsupervised while engaging in gambling at casino venues. One individual abandoned two children, aged 8 and 9, alone in a hotel room at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows for over seven hours as she engaged in table games. Another case involved three children, aged 2, 6, and 12, who were left in a vehicle at Hollywood Casino York for 29 minutes during gambling.

At the Wind Creek Bethlehem Casino, a visitor left a 10-year-old unattended in a hotel room for over three hours, while another left a 10-year-old in the bus lobby for 17 minutes. Additionally, a further incident involved a woman who left her 9-year-old in a vehicle at Parx Casino for 23 minutes while she gambled.

Officials from the Board emphasized that these actions highlight the hazards involved in leaving children unattended at casino premises, reminding the public that such actions are illegal across the state. The agency continues its child-safety awareness campaign, “Don’t Gamble with Kids,” which can be viewed at DontGamblewithKids.org.

Additionally, the Board has placed 12 other individuals on the Involuntary Casino Exclusion List and assigned five individuals to the Involuntary Interactive Exclusion List for engaging in fraudulent activities on online gaming or sports wagering platforms.

These actions increase the total number of individuals banned statewide to 1,491.

The Gaming Control Board’s next meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at the Strawberry Square Complex in Harrisburg. The meeting agenda will be posted on the Board’s website prior to the event.
