According to the Pennsylvania Lottery, the winning ticket for the Cash 5 with Quick Cash was drawn on April 3, 2025. This ticket was sold at Super Mini Mart, located at 1165 Freedom Rd., Cranberry Township, Butler County, approximately 20 miles north of Pittsburgh.

The lucky numbers drawn were 3, 10, 12, 30, and 37. This ticket must be claimed at a Pennsylvania Lottery Area Office by this Friday, April 3.

“Players should check their tickets: a winning Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket valued at $400,000 will soon expire,” cautioned a statement from the Pennsylvania Lottery.

The probability of winning the Pennsylvania Lottery’s Cash 5 with Quick Cash is one in 962,598. It costs $2 to play Cash 5.

Unredeemed Lottery Tickets

Unlike several state lotteries that allow only six months or less for winners to claim their prizes, the Pennsylvania Lottery provides up to 365 days from the drawing date to claim winnings. Unredeemed tickets contribute to the state Lottery Fund, which benefits programs for older residents of Pennsylvania.

Last year, two significant jackpot wins went unclaimed in Pennsylvania. A Match 6 Lotto ticket worth $2.5 million, purchased at a Weis Markets in Honesdale for the May 4, 2024 drawing, was never validated. Additionally, a jackpot-winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket exceeding $2.6 million, sold in Murrysville for the May 8, 2024 drawing, also went unclaimed.

While draw game winnings can be claimed for up to one year, scratch-off ticket prizes can be claimed for one year from the date the game ends. Fast Play winnings expire one year from the date of purchase.

South Carolina Lottery Win Nearing Expiry

In South Carolina, lottery officials are also alerting players about an unclaimed prize.

A Powerball ticket for the drawing on October 1, 2025, was bought via the South Carolina Education Lottery. This ticket won $50,000 by matching four of the white balls and the red Powerball during the $1 Double Play add-on. The winning numbers for the Double Play were 3, 29, 38, 56, 65, with the Powerball as 7.

The ticket holder, who bought the Powerball ticket from Ingles Market in Travelers Rest, has 180 days to claim the prize. The ticket is set to expire later today at 4 PM. If mailed, the ticket must be postmarked by March 30.

Funds from unclaimed lottery tickets also support public education initiatives.
