Music fans are in for a treat, as Phish prepares to perform at the MSG Sphere in Las Vegas. Set to take place from April 18-21, the jam band will become the second musical act to headline the new globular concert venue, following in the footsteps of U2.
According to a press release from Sphere Entertainment, each night will feature “completely unique setlists and visuals.” Phish’s lead guitarist and vocalist, Trey Anastasio, expressed his excitement about the unique experience to be presented to Phish fans.
Big Unanswered Question
Phish’s engagement is limited as the band will only perform during the announced four shows at the venue in 2024. This leaves open the question of which musical act will follow U2 for a residency at the MSG Sphere. Reports suggest that it could be any of The Eagles, Harry Styles, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Paul McCartney, or Bon Jovi, but none have been confirmed as of yet.
Sphere Phishing
Phish’s relationship with MSG Entertainment also adds to their performance at the MSG Sphere, and tickets for their limited Sphere engagement are now available at tickets.phish.com, with a general sale starting on Friday, December 15.
