The Potomac Winter Poker Open is returning to MGM National Harbor from February 11 to 23.

This year’s event features an updated format with an array of multi-day tournaments, mixed games, and a special charity series, all taking place in the vibrant Poker Room of the casino.

Leading the lineup is a $500,000 guaranteed Opener that includes seven starting flights, along with a $750,000 guaranteed Main Event. Other exciting tournaments include the Cakes Classic Bounty, the Charity Series of Poker (CSOP), Double Stack No Limit Hold’em, and various other competitions that cater to players of different skill levels and interests.

MGM National Harbor has also updated its buy-in policy. The casino will no longer apply an automatic gratuity to tournament buy-ins. Instead, each event will now offer an optional add-on, which is included in the overall buy-in reflected on the official schedule. The starting stack sizes account for the optional add-on, with complete details available in the specific structure sheets.

Participants must be at least 21 years old. Players are encouraged to gamble responsibly.
