Chicago-based Rush Street Interactive, the operator of BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse sportsbooks, has unveiled “Prop Central” for the 2023 season. This new feature offers a wider range of pre-game and live prop wagers across multiple sports.

“Prop Central” provides a central hub for all player props across major sports, making it easier for customers to find and use these betting options,” says Rush Street Interactive.

Rush Street Interactive operates in various locations including Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Rush Street Interactive Takes Advantage of Popularity of Prop Bets

Prop bets are gaining popularity among bettors and sportsbook operators, and Rush Street Interactive’s introduction of “Prop Central” is timely.

Prop bets expand the wagering menu for bettors, offering more options beyond traditional pre-game bets. They are also more focused on specific teams or players.

Sportsbook operators are attracted to prop bets because they offer longer odds and can boost revenue. Prop bets are especially suited for the growing live betting market.

Currently, about half of all sports bets are placed live or in-game. While in-game betting is popular in Europe, it has potential to grow in the US for sports like baseball and golf.

Rush Street Interactive Enhances Squares Game

Aside from Prop Central, Rush Street Interactive has also made improvements to its popular Squares football game, available for both college and NFL contests.

Customers now have the chance to earn Profit Boosts for a “near miss” in addition to existing prizes. The operator also offers first touchdown insurance, odds boost, and parlay insurance this year.
