A lady is facing legal action after reportedly taking around $40K from a gentleman. Just before the incident, they had beverages at a betting establishment along the Las Vegas Strip.
The accused, Monica Falcon, had recently encountered the man at the unnamed casino in Las Vegas on June 12, as per the police. They then returned to the man’s home.
Upon waking up the following day, the man discovered Falcon had left the apartment.
Approximately $600 in cash was stolen. His bank account showed a negative balance of $6,500 despite having been $17K previously. Additionally, $17,500 was withdrawn from his cryptocurrency account. Furthermore, $4,912 was taken from a Venmo account.
Gentleman’s Hazy Memory
Officers from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) were contacted by the man. He had a vague memory of the previous night’s activities.
Following a conversation with the officers, he mentioned that he would be able to recognize her if he saw her again.
The police also spotted the suspect in surveillance footage recorded at the casino.
After identifying her, officers requested her presence at the police station. However, she declined and was detained under a warrant in August.
She is facing a charge of theft exceeding $25K but less than $100K, according to the Las Vegas TV station KLAS. If found guilty, Falcon may be sentenced to imprisonment, fines, and be obliged to reimburse the man.
It remains uncertain if any of the missing funds were recovered by LVMPD officers.
Falcon is set to appear in local court on December 4.
Allegations of Solicitation and Prostitution
There is no information regarding whether the man and Falcon engaged in sexual activity during their time in the apartment.
No details were provided by the LVMPD regarding the presence of a “trick roll” in the events involving Falcon that evening. This term is frequently used to describe situations where a sex worker steals valuable items or cash from a client.
Incidents of trick rolls are commonly reported to LVMPD officers, often occurring in hotels after a suspected sex worker meets a potential client on a casino floor or at a bar.
It is common for the sex worker to share drinks with the client before proceeding to the client’s hotel room or residence.
Further examination of court records revealed that Falcon had previously faced charges of solicitation, engaging in prostitution, and trespassing, as reported by KLAS.
It is unknown if the previous charges are still pending.
