Identified as Jessica Thompson, also known as “Tiffany,” the suspect accompanied the man to his hotel room for a massage at 2:45 a.m. on February 9, 2023, according to Las Vegas TV station KLAS.

After the massage, the man kept his Rolex watch in the hotel safe before taking a bath. While he was occupied, Thompson accessed the safe and took the watch, the police mentioned.

Upon hearing the safe opening, the man confronted Thompson and saw her with the watch. She then threatened him with a switchblade and warned him against informing the authorities.

Thompson left the room by 4 a.m.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) launched an investigation into the incident and identified Thompson with the help of surveillance footage and a security guard from another casino-hotel, the police confirmed.

The victim positively identified Thompson during a lineup, leading to her arrest and charges of robbery with a deadly weapon and grand larceny amounting to over $25,000 but less than $100,000.

Thompson is currently detained at the Clark County Detention Center with additional warrants pending, as per the authorities.
