The SBC Summit Americas is set to make its return next week with an innovative networking initiative designed to assist gaming industry leaders in establishing more focused business relationships amidst regulatory changes and shifting market conditions in North and Latin America.
Taking place from June 9-11 at the Broward County Convention Center, the event is anticipated to gather thousands of operators, affiliates, suppliers, and various industry participants.
SBC Connections will be launched at the summit, a unique networking program that enables attendees to pinpoint prospective business partners, arrange meetings, and engage in organized networking interactions.
“The gaming sector requires enhanced networking opportunities, rather than just more of the same,” said Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and founder of SBC. “SBC Connections aims to empower attendees to invest less time seeking out the right individuals and more time engaged in discussions that can genuinely propel their businesses forward.”
“Alongside a program addressing some of the industry’s most critical challenges and an exhibition area revealing the latest innovations, technologies, and services, we are committed to delivering an event that offers true value to each attendee.
The initiative will feature pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings via the SBC Connect app, themed speed-networking sessions, speaker-driven panel discussions, topical networking gatherings, intimate roundtable discussions, and guided tours of the exhibition area.
The conference agenda will cover six main topics addressing pressing issues facing the gaming sector throughout the Americas, including leadership, sports betting, casino technologies, payment solutions, compliance and regulation, and player safety.
Topics of discussion will include harnessing momentum from significant international football tournaments, enhancing audience engagement through social media, notable regulatory advancements, and the future landscape of digital payments.
Over 250 distinguished speakers are slated to attend, featuring executives from prominent betting and gaming firms, technology companies and compliance authorities. Notable speakers include Stephanie De Flora (CMO at bet365), Ian Botts (CTO at Fanatics Betting & Gaming), Jeanine Hightower-Sellitto (SVP and GM of DraftKings Predictions), and Patrick Kennedy (former U.S. Representative).
A dedicated Prediction Markets Forum will also be a part of the event, reflecting an increasing interest in this niche. The forum will investigate the growth of prediction markets, regulatory developments, and their potential consequences for sports betting and gaming.
Beyond the conference sessions, discussions on prediction markets will continue through tailored networking events and roundtable sessions centered on this subject.
Various companies such as BetMGM, Hard Rock Digital, Kambi, OpenBet, Optimove, Soft2Bet, and Catena Media will showcase their offerings aimed at gaming operators and affiliates throughout the Americas on the exhibition floor.
The summit will also host a series of evening networking events, including an opening celebration at The Wharf on June 9 and the INFINITY Florida Party at DAER Nightclub & Dayclub featuring a performance by electronic dance music artist Oliver Heldens on June 11.
To wrap up the week, the SBC Awards Americas will be held, honoring operators, affiliates, and suppliers across 34 award categories.
