Bragg’s Expanding Influence in Finland
Bragg Gaming Group, based in Toronto, has entered into an agreement with Finland’s SuomiVeto. This partnership will allow SuomiVeto to utilize Bragg’s proprietary Player Account Management (PAM) system, access a unique collection of casino games, a fully managed sportsbook, Fuze Player Engagement tools, alongside various marketing and operational services.
The newly regulated Finnish iGaming sector is set to open for private operators on July 1, 2027, with licensing applications commencing in March 2026. SuomiVeto is backed by the founders of BetCity.nl and will mark its entry into the market. Bragg plans to develop content specifically for the Finnish audience.
Industry analysts project that the online gambling market, encompassing both casino and sportsbook activities, will reach between €1.1 billion and €1.3 billion in 2027. The new regulations will implement a 22% GGR tax for licensed entities.
“Our focus remains on empowering key partners in rapidly expanding regulated markets, and Finland emerges as a significant new opportunity in Europe,” stated Bragg Gaming CEO Matevž Mazij.
