Sky River Casino in California is undergoing comprehensive renovations aimed at transforming it into a premier resort destination.
The casino temporarily closed its doors on Tuesday morning to carry out essential electrical upgrades required for future developments, as reported by FOX40 News. The facility reopened by noon the same day. A representative mentioned that these enhancements are part of a larger initiative to modernize the property while minimizing impact on visitors.
Current projects include the development of a 1,600-space parking garage, improved valet services, and a new porte cochere, all expected to launch in the first quarter of 2026. This expansion will introduce 312 additional slot machines, increasing the total to 2,500 machines on the gaming floor.
Casino representatives confirmed that electrical upgrades are currently in progress as part of the property’s planned enhancements.
Looking to the future, Sky River Casino aims to unveil an upscale resort experience by late 2027. The new development will feature a 300-room hotel, an outdoor pool, a day spa, a multi-functional event and entertainment space, an expanded gaming area, and additional high-limit and VIP gaming facilities.
