This week, social media exploded over a viral incident involving an influencer who livestreamed his ejection from a bar located at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.

Marco Ayala, a freshman at Rio Hondo College in Whittier, California, claimed he was ejected from the B Lounge for simply eating a bagel. However, a closer look at his video uploaded on December 12 reveals that he triggered the “Bagelgate” incident by bringing outside food into the bar and consuming it without buying a drink or removing his headphones.
In his video, a female employee informed Ayala, “You’re not allowed to eat in here. You must purchase a beverage at the bar to sit down and eat.”

Ayala, who is known on TikTok for his dessert brand @marcocookiez, mockingly declared to the camera, “Power trip, we’re leaving!” He exited the bar, seemingly frustrated that his perceived status wasn’t recognized by the staff.
“I typically do not have the time to engage with individuals like this,” he remarked.
The influencer’s behavior was both entertaining and cringeworthy, reinforcing negative stereotypes associated with social media influencers.
As of the following evening, the video amassed over 542,000 views.
“Karma is coming for her,” Ayala threatened the employee as he walked through the B gates in Terminal 1, looking for another spot to enjoy his Einstein’s bagel. “The universe is always in my favor. I am divinely protected.”
He likely alienated many fans with his statement: “Watch, she’ll be jobless soon because I’m going to work my magic.”
Unprovoked Attack
Supporters of Ayala inundated the B Lounge’s Yelp page with negative reviews, plummeting its rating from 2.5 stars to 1.5 based on 75 single-star assessments in just a few hours before Yelp halted new reviews.
A Yelp user, Regina C. from Dallas, wrote, “This lady deserves to be fired. She is rude, and if she’s a supervisor, it’s shameful.”
In response to the pile-on, Yelp stated they were reviewing the situation to ensure that reviews reflected genuine customer experiences rather than the recent uproar.
Out of the 11,000 comments under Ayala’s video, many supported his outburst. However, other TikTok users shared their responses, attempting to knock down his inflated ego.
“You know what I think really happened?” questioned @deadisnacks in his reaction. “I suspect the staff confronted you for loitering, leading you to take out your phone and seek 450,000 likes while encouraging negative reviews of the venue. For those defending him saying the staff was rude, understand that businesses expect customers to behave appropriately.”
