This season presents a prime opportunity for sportsbook operators to introduce technological advancements just as the NFL betting frenzy begins.

$30 Billion in NFL Wagering
The American Gaming Association recently shared its projected figures for NFL betting through legal sportsbooks for this season, expected to kick off with the Dallas Cowboys facing the Super Bowl-champion Eagles in Philadelphia—totaling a staggering USD $30 billion.
In a surprising move, the Cowboys recently traded four-time Pro Bowl edge rusher Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers, receiving two first-round picks and three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Kenny Clark in return.
Adjusting to Line Changes
This unexpected trade triggered an immediate shift in odds—at FanDuel, the Cowboys’ chances to win the Super Bowl moved from +4500 to +6000. Sportsbooks must remain agile in response to such dramatic trades.
For Ken Fuchs, COO and Head of Sports at Caesars Sportsbook, the anticipation for this season is palpable. In an exclusive conversation with Casino.org, he elaborated on enhancements to the Caesars Sportsbook app.
Technological Upgrades
Similar enhancements are being rolled out on the William Hill mobile platform across Nevada.
“As everyone returns to their TVs for fall, football is truly America’s pastime,” he noted. “It significantly impacts our business during this period, and there’s a buzz that resonates throughout all facets of operations.”
Fuchs emphasized that their proprietary technology stack offers the capability to swiftly adapt to user preferences, enhancing the overall experience for bettors.
Expanded NFL Market Opportunities
This season, Caesars is offering a doubling or tripling of betting market options compared to previous years, including themed same-game parlays and an unprecedented number of prop bets, featuring head-to-head opportunities.
The revamped homepage boasts improved navigation, making it easier to build parlays and delve into player props, along with a brand-new search feature that speeds up bet discovery.
Additionally, the company has prioritized cash-out options, enhancing support for player props, same-game parlays, and super parlays.
BetMGM Unveils Sportsbook Enhancements
Caesars Sportsbook has also introduced improved live betting options—Live Quick Pick Parlays facilitate expedited parlay creations, coupled with live player stat tracking and an updated bet slip interface.
Another feature is the Universal Digital Wallet, now operational in 19 locations, which simplifies fund management and Caesars Rewards credits.
“With a proprietary tech stack, we can develop the features we envision, rather than being restricted to a vendor’s timeline,” Fuchs explained. “This gives us control and allows us to be responsive to our users’ needs. Analyzing customer trends and obtaining feedback ensures a tailor-made experience that is both enjoyable and efficient.”
When users place a bet in Las Vegas for a Raiders or Golden Knights game, their stakes remain accessible even after returning home.
Monitoring Your Bets
BetMGM has also released a plethora of upgraded features for its mobile app as the NFL season approaches—offering what they describe as a faster and more seamless user experience, live same-game parlays, a more polished presentation, and a redesigned rewards dashboard to help users track their BetMGM Rewards Points balance alongside technology improvements that showcase recent team and player performances, evolving season trends, streak indicators, and insights from the last five games.
“This is our fastest and most user-friendly product to date,” highlighted BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt. “Every element has been crafted with the player’s experience in mind, pairing customer feedback with our innovative development team to create a superior sports betting app with unmatched detail.”
Refined Bet Slip Experience
Fuchs noted that the primary focus for users is having an intuitive platform that simplifies registration, smoothens app access, and eases the process of depositing funds.
“We’ve diligently improved these core initial experiences… aiming to streamline the betting process,” he said.
“You should be able to rapidly find the market you want to bet on, whether via our search feature, through the homepage, or an event page. Once found, adding it to your bet slip, combining it with other bets, and executing the bet should be simple. Tracking the progress of your bets is essential.”
“If you’ve selected Josh Allen for over 300 yards, and he’s at 249 by the third quarter, you should be able to track that in-app and decide whether to maintain the bet or cash out.”
Fast, User-Friendly, and Reliable
The efficiency of navigating bet slips, completing transactions, tracking players and games, and withdrawing funds securely if victorious are all critical elements that sportsbooks must prioritize.
“Our focus is on the customer—understanding their pain points and preferences, and continually working to enhance their experience,” Fuchs summarized.
Following years of fortifying their tech foundations, Fuchs stated that Caesars Sportsbook is now poised to concentrate more on fostering enjoyable customer experiences.
