Half a century after launching its inaugural Las Vegas location, Station Casinos is actively enhancing its portfolio with new developments, modernized accommodations, and a broader range of entertainment options across its 18-property network.
This wave of investment coincides with the company’s upcoming 50th anniversary on July 1, featuring a variety of projects scheduled between 2025 and 2026 throughout Southern Nevada. Station Casinos operates as a subsidiary of Red Rock Resorts.
Durango Development Phases
The most ambitious project is currently being developed in the Durango area of southwest Las Vegas, as Station Casinos launched the second phase of development on Monday. Investing $385 million in this phase, the expansion follows the property’s opening in December 2023, which included a high-limit slot room and a parking garage with 2,000 spaces as of December 15.
During this construction phase, all current amenities will remain operational. Future enhancements will include 400 additional slot machines, a state-of-the-art 36-lane bowling center, luxury cinemas, fresh dining concepts, food hall options, and entertainment spaces.
Green Valley Ranch Renovations
Green Valley Ranch is also undergoing renovations. In December, the property opened 162 revamped rooms and 37 suites, as well as its poker room. A comprehensive renovation of 294 rooms and suites in the East Tower and South Rotunda Lobby is planned for 2026.
Further upgrades at Green Valley Ranch include a redesigned meeting and convention space scheduled for the first quarter of the year, along with the introduction of Nielsen’s Frozen Custard in the food court early in the year and mid-2026 renovations for the Regal cinemas.
Dining Additions at Red Rock Resort
Red Rock Resort is poised to expand with several new dining establishments in early 2026. Anticipated openings include Hearthstone, a restaurant from Clique Hospitality returning to the venue; Randy’s Donuts joining the food court; Good Pie, a local pizza outlet; and With Love, Always, a smash burger concept, also making its debut in the food court.
Sunset Station is also slated for a comprehensive refresh, featuring the anticipated 2026 launch of a Stoney’s Rockin’ Country venue and the transformation of Club Madrid into a casino bar.
Palace Station and Tavern Initiatives
At Palace Station, the company’s original location, Master Kim’s Korean BBQ is set to debut in the spring. This 6,500-square-foot eatery will feature over 30 built-in grills and accommodate over 100 diners, offering a diverse menu that includes brisket, marinated short ribs, pork belly, chicken, seafood, traditional banchan, Korean sauces, as well as rice and noodle dishes available in all-you-can-eat and à la carte formats.
Station Casinos will also launch its fourth Seventy Six Tavern on January 22 at the Union Village plaza located at 1120 Vitality Drive in Henderson. In early 2026, the company will transition The Den at Grand Canyon Drive and Tropicana Avenue into a Seventy Six Tavern. More tavern locations are expected to be announced later this year.
The history of Station Casinos dates back to 1976 when Frank Fertitta Jr. established an off-Strip venue called The Casino. This location was later renamed Bingo Palace, featuring a bingo hall, buffet, and one of Las Vegas’ early sportsbooks. It reopened as Palace Station on November 22, 1983.
Currently, the company operates 18 properties across the Las Vegas Valley, including Red Rock Resort, Green Valley Ranch, Durango, Wildfire-branded neighborhood casinos, and the Seventy Six Taverns concept that was introduced in 2024.
