Expansion in Canada

PlayStar Casino, situated in New Jersey and linked to Ocean Casino Resort, boasts a catalog of over 1,500 games, including slots, blackjack, roulette, and live dealer offerings from Evolution.

Strive Gaming specializes in creating an omni-channel platform that delivers online casino and sports betting solutions tailored for clients in the igaming sector, particularly focusing on the North American market. Established in 2020, Strive collaborates with various companies to enhance their operational scalability.

As per the agreement, Strive will supply its player account management (PAM) technology to PlayStar as the latter embarks on its expansion, including entry into regulated Canadian markets like Ontario and Alberta.

PAM Technology Overview

“PlayStar is an ambitious operator with a vision to establish itself as a premier casino brand across North America,” remarked Max Meltzer, CEO of Strive Gaming. “They wanted a platform partner who comprehends the complexities of operating in the U.S. and Canada, capable of supporting their growth across various regulated markets.

Our emphasis on North America, coupled with the robustness and adaptability of our platform, makes this partnership a natural choice. Both Strive and PlayStar are committed to significant growth and share mutual ambitions for the region, so we are eager to assist PlayStar in its continual expansion.”

Fredrik Liljewall, CEO of PlayStar, stated: “In our journey to scale our presence throughout North America, it was vital to choose a platform partner with strong regional expertise and the capability to support our long-term goals.

Strive’s innovative technology, profound understanding of the North American market, and collaborative approach made them the optimal partner for PlayStar. We anticipate a close partnership as we transition our New Jersey operations and venture into new markets, including Canada.”

Betty’s Content Partnership

Betty, an Ontario-focused online casino specializing in slots, has secured a content partnership with the Swedish casino content provider Gaming Corp., as initially reported in Canadian Gaming Business.

Recently, Betty has been actively pursuing expansion as the company is poised to enter Alberta’s newly regulated igaming market, set to compete with the government’s Play Alberta platform, launching on July 13.

Last year, Betty formed a multi-year strategic alliance with the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Raptors, which includes promotional activities within arenas.
