Sunset Station in Las Vegas has unveiled a brand-new casino bar and is in the process of renovating the renowned Gaudi Bar along with the nearby table games area as part of extensive upgrades to the property.

This newly launched 28-seat casino bar takes over the former Club Madrid location, serving as a stunning focal point on the casino floor. The bar is designed in a modern square island format, featuring luxurious Calacatta Rosso marble, elegant gold highlights, and soft underlighting that establishes a cozy yet upscale atmosphere. Surrounding the bar are plush red stools, complemented by bartop gaming machines that foster a communal vibe.

This bar complements recent enhancements to the casino floor, which include illuminated columns, decorative metallic ceiling elements, and a sweeping LED light box that intensifies the overall brilliance of the space. Open 24/7, it boasts dual high-definition screens for sports enthusiasts and offers signature drink deals, such as $1.99 margaritas and $3 beers and shots.

Simultaneously, the Gaudi Bar, centrally located on the casino floor, has closed as of Sunday to commence a substantial renovation, which will also include the adjacent table games area. The initiative seeks to modernize the area while retaining the unique stained-glass features inspired by Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí.

The revamped Gaudi Bar will introduce a sculptural round bar capped with a magnificent hand-blown crystal chandelier from Preciosa International, which measures 10 feet in width and 8 feet in height. The renovated space will showcase rippled metal ceilings, backlit stained-glass skylights, jewel-toned lounge seating, communal tables, bartop gaming, and unobstructed views for live entertainment and social interaction.

Additional upgrades will feature bookmatched stonework, adjustable LED lighting, new carpeting, suspended televisions, and various access points. During the renovation period, all 23 table games will operate in a temporary venue adjacent to the new casino bar.

These initiatives form part of Station Casinos’ $53 million reinvestment strategy in its off-Strip venues. Additional improvements at Sunset Station encompass a new Player Services area, upgraded entrances, restroom renovations, and recent launches like the STN Sportsbook and Bar as well as Yard House. Further projects are planned through 2026.
