ToonieBet has teamed up with the Ottawa Redblacks, a CFL team in search of their first win this season. Daniel Madmon, head of ToonieBet Canada, stated that the partnership is based on the franchise’s history and legacy.

The sportsbook operator was appointed as the Redblacks’ sportsbook partner. The ToonieBet logo will be featured on all three player jerseys. The exclusive partnership will cover activations at TD Place, prominent TV and LED signage in the stadium, and social media integrations.

“Teaming up with a renowned franchise like the Ottawa Redblacks is a significant milestone as we grow ToonieBet’s presence in Canada,” remarked Madmon.

ToonieBet will also sponsor the Sideline Club, providing field-level seating closest to the action.

ToonieBet and the Redblacks will host three pre-game street parties on Exhibition Way on game days, featuring a live DJ, games, and giveaways.

The partnership kicks off this Sunday (Aug. 30) with fan engagements.

ToonieBet also has a partnership with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL, which was announced on June 22.

The Redblacks recently appointed CFL veteran Jim Popp as senior football adviser to improve their on-field performance, following the dismissal of vice-president Shawn Burke on Sunday (Aug. 23). Team president Adrian Sciarra had resigned six days prior.

The Redblacks have been part of the CFL since its inaugural season in 1958, with the Ottawa franchise established in 2014. The team’s history includes the folding of the Ottawa Rough Riders in 1996 (replaced briefly by the Ottawa Renegades from 2002-2005).
