NBA legend Tracy McGrady has made headlines recently, particularly for welcoming his cousin and former teammate Vince Carter into the Basketball Hall of Fame. McGrady is also supporting his new one-on-one basketball tournament, the Ones Basketball League.
BVGroup has announced that the seven-time NBA All-Star has joined them as the Safer Gambling Ambassador for their flagship BetVictor brand in Canada.

McGrady and Carter shared memorable experiences playing for the Raptors in the late 1990s. Carter was initially drafted by the Golden State Warriors in 1998 and later traded to the Raptors, where he rose to stardom. Carter achieved global recognition, winning the NBA Rookie of the Year in 1999 and the Slam Dunk Contest at the 2000 NBA All-Star Weekend.
Jontay Porter’s Suspension Makes Headlines
McGrady began his career with the Raptors after being drafted in the 1997 NBA draft (ninth overall pick), forming a partnership with his cousin. However, it was after moving to the Orlando Magic in 2000 that his career flourished, leading him to become one of the league’s top scorers. McGrady was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2017. On the other hand, Carter enjoyed a 22-year career in the NBA and entered the Hall of Fame as a Raptor.
