The pair successfully executed an elaborate scheme between June and September, targeting Saks Fifth Avenue and Sephora stores, resulting in the theft of several high-end designer items.
The stolen goods, which included brands like Dior, Versace, and Ferragamo, were valued at thousands of dollars.
Authorities, however, apprehended Naisha Adams, 36, and Taurean Henderson, 38, both residents of Las Vegas, while they were attempting to steal nearly $2,300 worth of merchandise from the men’s department at Saks Fifth Avenue, 3200 Las Vegas Boulevard South on September 22.
Adams took a Versace hoodie, Ferragamo and Versace belts, as well as a Versace bodysuit, while Henderson helped by putting the stolen items into Adams’ Saks shopping bag. The duo tried to flee but were caught by Saks security guards before they could reach their getaway car parked outside the store.
Adams faces multiple charges for her involvement in six thefts, while Henderson faces charges for participating in a theft ring, burglary, theft, and illegal drug possession. Both cases have been handed over to local prosecutors for further action.
