Four Michelin-starred restaurants in Las Vegas were announced in the 2026 edition of the guide at a ceremony held at the Fontainebleau. Joël Robuchon at MGM Grand received two stars, while L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, Restaurant Guy Savoy, and É by José Andrés each earned one.
This is the first time a Las Vegas restaurant has qualified for a star since Michelin stopped its Las Las Vegas guide in 2008-2009.
Instead of a specific guide for Vegas, Michelin included all of Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico in the new American Southwest edition (excluding California).
Despite the significant improvement in the Las Vegas dining scene over the years, this was not reflected in the results. Three out of the four starred restaurants already had stars in the 2008 and 2009 guides, with Joël Robuchon and Restaurant Guy Savoy losing a star each.
No restaurant in the American Southwest received three stars, which were awarded to 10 restaurants in Michelin’s 2026 California edition.
Insufficient Star Power
China Poblano, Esther’s Kitchen, and Yen Viet Kitchen received Michelin’s Bib Gourmand nods, recognizing “simple yet skillful cooking at an accessible price.” Additionally, 17 Las Vegas restaurants received Selected by Michelin honors: Anima by EDO, Bouchon, COTE, Estiatorio Milos, Gymkhana, Kabuto, Kame, Lamaii, Michael Mina, Mott 32, Partage, Pho Ga Bac Bac, Ping Pang Pong, SoulBelly BBQ, Sparrow + Wolf, Stubborn Seed, and Wing Lei.
These restaurants were considered good but did not receive a star rating from the anonymous inspectors.

Marathon Burger, a wagyu smashburger concept from L.A. honoring the late rapper Nipsey Hussle, is expanding to Las Vegas with its first drive-thru location.
Mulberry Street Pizzeria will be closing at Resorts World in mid-September and is looking for a new location on the Strip.
Mama Chai’s, a bakery and tea shop in Vegas’ Chinatown, is closing on August 30th.
