The Corner Store is making its way to Las Vegas from the vibrant SoHo district of New York City. This trendy American eatery launched in September 2024 at 475 West Broadway, quickly establishing itself as one of Manhattan’s most sought-after dining spots, renowned for its sophisticated martinis, caviar-topped lobster rolls, and an A-list clientele. Notable figures like Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, and Gigi Hadid were among its first guests, contributing to its “clubstaurant” fame.

As reported by Observer.com, Catch Hospitality Group, Eugene Remm, and Tilman Fertitta have finalized plans for a larger second location, featuring twice the seating capacity (150 versus 75), set to debut in a luxury resort in Las Vegas next year.
The specific resort’s name remains undisclosed. However, given that both Remm and Fertitta are stakeholders in Catch Las Vegas, which opened at Aria in 2018—and considering Fertitta’s status as a major shareholder (12.3%) at Wynn Resorts—we speculate it will either be located at an MGM Resorts venue or the Wynn.
Flav Delivers Holiday Cheer

Local Vegas icon Flavor Flav made his much-anticipated second appearance at Raising Cane’s located at 2231 E. Fremont Street on Monday. The legendary rapper handed out 100 bicycles and helmets to Communities in Schools of Nevada, a nonprofit organization aimed at supporting underserved students to remain in school and foster community ties.
Flav entered into a partnership with the chicken finger chain in April 2025, starring in a nationwide advertising campaign and even working a promotional shift at its flagship Vegas location in the Showcase Mall.
The Public Enemy member briefly ran two of his own chicken establishments in Las Vegas: Flavor Flav’s House of Flavor from March to September 2012, and Flavor Flav’s Chicken & Vinny’s Pizza from December 2018 to January 2019.
Dining Updates
Illy Caffé recently opened its doors at the Cosmopolitan. This coffeehouse, hailing from Trieste, Italy, is known for its signature espresso and pastries, taking over the space previously occupied by the Cosmo-operated Va Bene Caffé, where patrons can enjoy breathtaking views of the Strip.
Unfortunately, Sorellina Cucina Italiana and Emilio’s Contemporary Mexican Kitchen will be closing on December 23, just nine months after opening. These establishments, situated in adjacent suites at 9742 W. Maule Ave. in southwest Las Vegas, are operated by young restaurateurs Lin Jerome and Alexandria Lourdes, who announced their decision on Instagram, citing that “the current economic realities have made it evident that we simply do not have the capacity to continue, despite our strong desire to do so.”
The Bend in southwest Las Vegas has recently welcomed two new establishments: Butcher and Thief, an affordable steakhouse from Eleven Hospitality Group, and Hollywood’s popular St Felix dinner and nightlife venue.
