Fresh images of the upcoming world’s largest In-N-Out have surfaced on social media this week, igniting excitement among burger enthusiasts akin to the reveal of an elusive secret menu.

While an official opening date has yet to be announced, the pace of construction suggests a summertime launch is probable.

The establishment will boast 8,000 square feet dedicated to indoor dining and an additional 2,500 square feet on a terrace with views of the Strip. Notably absent will be the chain’s iconic drive-thru, as accessing the third-floor roof deck of the BLVD retail complex poses challenges for vehicles.

Additionally, there will be a dedicated merchandise shop, catering to the unique Las Vegas vibe.

Closure of Heart Attack Grill

The Heart Attack Grill has officially closed its doors after 14 tumultuous years at the struggling Neonopolis mall. As reported by Vital Vegas, this fast-food destination notorious for its unhealthy offerings had been financially troubled for a full year before finally ceasing operations on May 18.

Flirting dangerously with the line between satire and reality, Heart Attack Grill offered patrons hospital gowns while serving “Quadruple Bypass” burgers, with waitstaff attired as nurses. Notably, anyone tipping the scales over 350 pounds dined for free after verification on a scale located at the entrance.

In 2012, a customer suffered a genuine heart attack while dining, and owner Jon Basso infamously seized the incident for promotional purposes.

Before declaring the restaurant’s demise, Basso, known as “Dr. John” in-house, unleashed a fiery social media post condemning Las Vegas for elevating prices and driving out its everyday patrons while replacing the city’s traditional indulgences with bland corporate offerings.

“The honest, calorie-laden dishes that have established our fame are now seen as inappropriate by a city that has marginalized average individuals and lost its authenticity in the process,” his message asserted.

Adding to the situation were reports of many loyal customers’ passing.

New Dining Options

Three new eateries are set to debut this year in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. Among them are Te’Amo Boba & Dessert, a teahouse and dessert spot slated to open this summer, alongside Pizza Rodizio, an all-you-can-eat restaurant arriving in the fall. Specifically in the Miracle Eats food court, a new establishment called Sourdough & Co. will offer soup, salads, and sandwiches, joining SoulBelly BBQ, which was added last month to the refurbished location that previously housed the beloved (and budget-friendly) Ocean One. Beard Papa’s, the renowned Japanese cream puff franchise, is closing its only Las Vegas location on South Rainbow. After seven years filled with delightful pastries, the bakery announced its farewell on Instagram, expressing gratitude to the community prior to its closure on May 21. However, the brand will continue operating across the country.
