  • The prominent LPM Restaurant & Bar at Cosmopolitan will permanently close in March
  • A new Hello Kitty Café is being constructed at the Caesars Forum Shops
  • Two popular dining establishments faced temporary closures due to health violations

LPM Restaurant & Bar is set to close at the Cosmopolitan on March 29, 2026. This elegant French and Mediterranean dining venue opened in November 2023 within the expansive space that was formerly the Greek restaurant Estiatorio Milos, which relocated to The Venetian in 2020.

“We appreciate the team at LPM for consistently providing exceptional hospitality and outstanding cuisine to our patrons,” stated Jessica Somple, the VP of food and beverage at Cosmopolitan, in a press release.

The Las Vegas location of LPM gained attention for an unusual incident. Last May, a social media influencer, who appeared to have been comped, sparked over 5 million views (along with a slew of negative comments) by praising an appetizer that consisted solely of a raw tomato, which guests had to slice themselves. (To LPM’s credit, the appetizer was offered at no charge.)

No information has been provided regarding a successor establishment.

Dining Updates

Ace Dragon Wok has closed its doors after just five months at TI (Treasure Island). This Pan-Asian restaurant, which opened in the Las Vegas Yacht Club space on September 1, 2025, announced its closure via social media on January 27. (It’s worth noting that closures without prior announcements are often a cause for concern, and same-day closures are particularly telling.)

A third Hello Kitty Café is set to debut on the Las Vegas Strip. A pink construction barrier on the second level of The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace hints at its upcoming presence, marked by a sign reading “Coming Soon in 2026.” This $1.6 million venture, orchestrated by Japanese company Sanrio, will complement existing locations at The Park (which opened in July 2019) and the Fashion Show Mall (which has been operating since July 2022).

After closing the popular Blue Martini at Town Square last July, the owners planned to reopen in a larger venue. They secured a lease for the former Urban Outfitters space in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, with plans being communicated as early as August 2023. However, extensive delays in the $9 million renovation have postponed their anticipated opening to this spring.

Ciao Vino will cease operations on March 28. The Italian restaurant has only been in business for 18 months, occupying the 4,000 square foot location in Summerlin’s Boca Park shopping center, which was left vacant by Bella Vita in April 2024.
